The Nomadds - Nomadds originals (1965)

out for the spelling of this album rarity by Illinois 60s band NOMADDS This is one of the real rare 60s albums, marked with four stars in Pokoras 1001 Rare Record Cover Book and gets mentioned in Ugly Things 20Little-Known Albums That Need To Be Reissued Section Recorded in 1965 on the peak of the British Invasion, this LP is a true example of US Teensound Excellent Mersey Type group originals such as There Is No More or Dont Cheat On Me are coupled with cool treatments of Shame Shame Shame or Love Potion No 9 The Searchers are smiling out of the groove These Sharp Kids looked to Merseybeat rather than Mick Jagger for inspiration Excellent lead vocals, plaintive three-part harmonies and stripped down, slightly reverbed instrumentation Amazing in its Beatle-like classiness and talent
Remastered to excellent sound, original cover, 500 copies only
