Olivia Newton-John - Toomorrow (OST / Vinil) 1970

Tomorrow (1970) - The brainchild of Don Kirschner who was the early musical director for The Monkees, the film was a starring vehicle for Olivia Newton John, who plays the lead singer of a band called Toomorrow who find themselves targeted by aliens.

A group of penniless students form a pop group to earn some extra money. They invent a "tonalizer" - a primitive synthesizer - which attracts the attention of the alien Alphoids whose culture is stagnating due to their soulless electronic music. Hoping to bring about universal harmony, the Alphoids abduct the band and take them back to their homeworld.
Well worth watching, especially for lovers of early 70's British exploitation comedies (blimeys and busty blondes are plenty and the soundtrack is kitsch pop perfection).
